New: Client Service Locations and Trade Packs

Two new features just landed in Jobkore: client service locations and trade packs. One helps you track every job site address for a client. The other fills your catalog with real line items in seconds. Here is what they do and why they matter.

Client Service Locations

If you work for property managers, GCs, or any client with more than one address, you already know the problem. The billing address is one place. The job site is somewhere else. And if you do three jobs for the same client at three different properties, there is no clean way to track which estimate goes with which address.

Service locations fix that. On any client detail page, you can add as many job site addresses as you need. Start typing and pick from Google Places suggestions — city, state, and ZIP fill in automatically.

Locations on your documents

When a client has service locations, a location picker shows up on the estimate and invoice forms right below the client field. Select the job site, and it appears on the PDF below the billing address. Your client sees exactly where the work is happening. If no location is selected, the document shows the billing address only — nothing changes for clients with a single address.

Trade Packs

Your catalog is where you save reusable line items so you can add them to estimates and invoices without typing the same thing twice. The problem is getting started. Nobody wants to sit down and enter 50 line items one by one before they can send their first estimate.

Trade packs solve that. They are pre-built sets of catalog items organized by contractor trade, each with current national average pricing. Pick your trade, review the items, and import. Your catalog is ready.

Jobkore ships with packs for general contracting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, painting and drywall, flooring and tile, outdoor and grounds, concrete and excavation, windows and doors, pool and spa, and restoration. Each pack includes the most common line items for that specialty.

How it works

Go to your Catalog page and click Trade Packs. Jobkore recommends a pack based on the trade you picked during setup, but you can browse all of them. Select or deselect individual items before importing. Items that already exist in your catalog are skipped automatically — no duplicates.

After importing, adjust the prices to match your local market and your markup strategy. The pack gets you started. Your numbers make it yours.
