Terms of Service
Last updated: August 4, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Jobkore (getjobkore.com and the Jobkore application, collectively the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jobkore LLC ("Jobkore," "Company," "we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
Jobkore provides estimate creation, invoice management, AI-powered estimate organization, client management, online payment collection, accounting integrations, and related tools designed for contractors and service businesses.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. For material changes that reduce core functionality, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.
4. Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately through our contact page of any unauthorized use of your account
You may sign up with an email and password or through Google Sign-In. One account per person or business unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to all features. When your trial expires:
- Your account remains accessible but certain features (AI tools, payment collection) will be restricted until you subscribe
- Your data is preserved and accessible — we do not delete trial account data upon expiry
- We may delete accounts that have been inactive for an extended period with prior notice
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract data from the Service
- Send spam, phishing messages, or abuse the email delivery features
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to store sensitive regulated data such as Social Security numbers, protected health information (HIPAA), or full payment card numbers (PCI)
- Misrepresent AI-generated content as manually created where disclosure is required by law or regulation
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written consent
- Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the Service without our written permission
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service includes AI features processed by third-party AI providers. They fall into two categories:
- Estimate organization (Hank) — Your job descriptions, notes, and uploaded files are organized into structured estimate sections and line items
- Writing assistance — Text you select is rewritten or grammar-corrected. This includes client-facing content: document notes, document terms, line item descriptions, and the email messages sent with your estimates and invoices
You must review AI output before it reaches your client. AI features produce drafts, not finished work. Every AI-generated or AI-edited word on a document you send — pricing, scope, notes, and terms alike — is published by you, as your own content, on your own authority.
- AI output is a suggestion only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and approving all AI-generated and AI-edited content before sending, saving, or relying on it
- Jobkore does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, or suitability of AI output for any particular project, client, or jurisdiction
- Writing assistance can change the meaning of the text you submit, including contractual language. Jobkore is not a legal service, and AI-edited terms are not legal advice. You are responsible for confirming that the terms, notes, and disclosures on your documents say what you intend and are enforceable where you operate
- AI outputs are considered your content for purposes of these Terms — you assume full responsibility for how you use them
- You are responsible for ensuring any content you submit to AI tools is appropriate and does not violate these Terms
- AI features are available during your trial period and with an active subscription. AI availability may be subject to rate limits and third-party provider availability
8. Fees, Payments, and Billing
Subscription Plans
- The Service offers a free trial and a paid plan as described on our pricing page
- Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis at the then-current rate
- All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date
- We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal
Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal accessible from your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until then
- No refunds or credits are provided for partial billing periods, downgrades, or unused time
9. Client Payment Processing (Stripe Connect)
The Service allows you to collect payments from your clients through Stripe Connect, a third-party payment processing service.
- By enabling payment collection, you agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Stripe's Privacy Policy
- Stripe may require identity verification, tax identification, and banking information as part of their onboarding process. This information is collected and processed by Stripe, not Jobkore
- Jobkore does not process, store, or have access to your clients' payment card details. All payment credentials are handled entirely by Stripe
- Jobkore does not charge additional transaction fees beyond what Stripe charges. Stripe's processing fees apply as described in their pricing
- You may optionally pass Stripe processing fees on to your clients by enabling the "cover fees" option on individual documents
- Payment disputes, chargebacks, and refunds between you and your clients are your responsibility. Jobkore is not a party to payment transactions and is not liable for payment disputes, failed transactions, or any acts or omissions of Stripe
- You may disconnect Stripe Connect from your account settings at any time
You are responsible for any applicable taxes on your subscription fees and on payments you collect from your clients.
10. QuickBooks Online Integration
The Service offers an optional integration with Intuit QuickBooks Online for syncing financial data.
- By enabling the QuickBooks integration, you authorize Jobkore to connect to your QuickBooks Online account via Intuit's API and agree to Intuit's Terms of Service
- The sync is one-way: client records, invoices, and payment data flow from Jobkore to QuickBooks
- You are responsible for reviewing synced data for accuracy. Jobkore does not guarantee that synced records will be complete, error-free, or consistent between systems
- Data mapping between Jobkore and QuickBooks is approximate. Differences in how each system handles tax rates, line items, payment methods, or account categories may result in discrepancies that require manual correction
- Jobkore is not liable for any accounting errors, tax filing inaccuracies, duplicate records, or data loss resulting from the use of the QuickBooks sync feature. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of your financial records
- The QuickBooks integration depends on Intuit's API availability. We are not responsible for sync failures, delays, or disruptions caused by Intuit's systems
- You may disconnect QuickBooks from your account settings at any time, which immediately revokes our access to your QuickBooks data. Previously synced data in Jobkore is not automatically deleted upon disconnection
- Intuit is a third party, not a partner or affiliate of Jobkore. We are not responsible for how Intuit processes your data once it leaves our Service
11. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with and relies on third-party services to provide certain features. These include, but are not limited to, Stripe (payments), Intuit QuickBooks (accounting sync), Google (authentication, analytics, advertising, and AI and OCR processing), Anthropic (AI processing), and Cloudflare (file storage, email delivery, and bot protection).
- Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies, not these Terms
- When you enable an integration, you authorize us to transmit and receive data between our Service and the third party as necessary to provide the feature
- We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or practices of any third-party service
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or disruption caused by third-party services, including API outages, data processing errors, or changes to their terms or functionality
- If a third-party service becomes unavailable or changes its terms, we may modify or discontinue the affected feature with reasonable notice
12. Your Data
You own your data. We do not claim ownership of estimates, invoices, client information, photos, attachments, or any other content you create or upload to the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
You grant Jobkore a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.
13. Aggregated Data
We may collect and analyze aggregated, anonymized data derived from your use of the Service (such as feature usage patterns, industry trends, and general statistics). This data cannot be used to identify you or your clients. We may use, publish, and share aggregated data for any business purpose, including improving the Service and informing industry research.
14. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, feature requests, bug reports, or other feedback about the Service, you grant Jobkore a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without obligation or compensation to you.
15. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is the property of Jobkore LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written consent.
16. Account Suspension
We may suspend your access to the Service immediately and without prior notice if:
- You violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Your use of the Service poses a security risk to us or other users
- Suspension is required by law or a government authority
We will notify you of the reason for suspension when reasonably possible and will restore access when the issue is resolved. Suspension does not terminate your account or delete your data.
17. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from within the Service. Upon deletion, your Stripe subscription is cancelled, all uploaded files are removed from cloud storage, and all account data is permanently deleted from our database. Deletion is irreversible
- We may terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or if required by law
- We may terminate your account with 30 days' notice for any other reason
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26 survive termination
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any AI-generated or AI-edited content, synced accounting data, or third-party integrations.
Jobkore is not an accounting, tax, or legal service. The Service is a tool for creating estimates and invoices. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your financial records, tax compliance, and legal obligations.
19. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JOBKORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, JOBKORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM: (A) AI-GENERATED OR AI-EDITED CONTENT, INCLUDING INACCURATE ESTIMATES, PROJECT STRUCTURES, LINE ITEM DESCRIPTIONS, DOCUMENT NOTES, DOCUMENT TERMS, OR MESSAGES SENT TO YOUR CLIENTS; (B) DATA SYNC ERRORS BETWEEN JOBKORE AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES SUCH AS QUICKBOOKS; (C) PAYMENT PROCESSING FAILURES OR DISPUTES HANDLED BY STRIPE; OR (D) ACTIONS TAKEN BY YOUR CLIENTS BASED ON DOCUMENTS SENT THROUGH THE SERVICE.
JOBKORE'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO JOBKORE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based, even if Jobkore has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jobkore and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your content or data, (d) your violation of any third-party rights, (e) estimates, invoices, or other documents you send to your clients through the Service, or (f) your use of third-party integrations including Stripe Connect and QuickBooks.
21. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us through our contact page. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon. Both parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Limitation of Claims
Any cause of action or claim arising out of or related to these Terms must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues. Otherwise, the cause of action is permanently barred.
Attorney's Fees
In any action or proceeding to enforce these Terms, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
22. Equitable Relief
You acknowledge that a breach of Sections 6 (Acceptable Use), 15 (Intellectual Property), or unauthorized disclosure of confidential information may cause irreparable harm to Jobkore for which monetary damages would be inadequate. In such event, Jobkore shall be entitled to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in addition to any other remedies available at law, without the requirement of posting a bond.
23. Use Outside the United States
The Service is designed for use within the United States. If you access or use the Service from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk. You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations, and tax obligations in your jurisdiction. We make no representations that the Service is appropriate, available, or compliant with the laws of any country outside the United States.
24. Force Majeure
Jobkore shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure failures, cyberattacks, labor disputes, third-party service outages, or pandemic-related disruptions. This section does not excuse payment obligations.
25. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jobkore regarding the Service
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect
- Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. Jobkore may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
- Modifications. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance
- Electronic Agreement. By creating an account, you agree that your electronic acceptance of these Terms has the same legal effect as a physical signature
26. Affiliate Program
Jobkore operates an affiliate program described on our affiliates page. This Section governs your participation if your application is approved. The commission rate and attribution window published on that page are incorporated here by reference.
Enrollment
- Participation requires an approved application. We may approve or decline any application at our discretion and are not required to give a reason
- You must provide accurate contact information and keep it current. If you are paid by PayPal, you must also keep your payout address current. We are not responsible for commissions sent to an incorrect or outdated PayPal address you supplied
- You participate as an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Jobkore. You may not represent otherwise, enter into agreements on our behalf, or speak for Jobkore
- The program is single tier. You earn only on subscribers you refer directly, and never on referrals made by someone you recruited
- We may enter separate written partnership agreements with trade associations and other organizations on terms that differ from this Section. Where such an agreement exists, it governs that partner's participation
Commissions and Attribution
- Referrals are attributed by a tracking cookie set when a visitor follows your referral link. The attribution window is 90 days from the click, and attribution is last-click
- Referrals may also be attributed by a referral or partner code entered at signup. Where a visitor arrives through one affiliate's link and enters a different affiliate's code, the code entered at signup takes precedence and the cookie is disregarded
- A commission is earned only when a referred visitor becomes a paid subscriber. Trials that never convert earn nothing
- Commissions are 20% of the subscription amount actually paid, for as long as the referral remains a paying subscriber. Monthly plans pay each month and annual plans pay once per billing cycle. Commission stops when the referral cancels or stops paying
- Because commission is calculated on the amount actually paid, an invoice reduced to zero by credit or discount earns no commission
- Attribution depends on the visitor's browser accepting the tracking cookie. Visitors who decline cookies, send a Global Privacy Control signal, block or clear cookies, or subscribe from a different device or browser may not be attributed to you. No commission is owed for referrals we cannot attribute
- We may change commission rates, the attribution window, or payout terms with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply only to commissions earned after the effective date
Payouts
- Commissions are held for a 30-day approval period before becoming payable. This applies to both account credit and cash
- If you are a Jobkore subscriber, approved commissions are applied as credit against your own Jobkore subscription. Credit is applied to your next invoice, and any amount above that invoice carries forward to later invoices
- Account credit has no cash value. It cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another account, or refunded, and it is not a deposit or stored value. Credit may accumulate beyond the cost of your subscription, and any accumulated balance above what your subscription consumes has no cash value either
- If you are not a Jobkore subscriber, approved commissions are paid monthly via PayPal once your balance reaches $10. Balances below $10 roll over to the following month. No minimum applies to commissions paid as account credit
- If you close or delete your Jobkore account, you stop earning commission and any accrued credit balance is forfeited
- All amounts are in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any PayPal fees, currency conversion costs, and all taxes on commissions you receive
- U.S. affiliates paid in cash must provide a completed Form W-9 before we issue payment. We report payments as required by law, including issuing Form 1099-NEC where applicable, and may withhold payouts until the required tax documentation is received
Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Refer yourself, or sign up through your own referral link using any account, business entity, or email address you control
- Refer someone who referred you, or take part in any arrangement where a group of accounts refer one another to reduce their own subscription costs
- Bid on "Jobkore" or confusingly similar terms in paid search, or run ads that impersonate Jobkore or imply you are Jobkore
- Register domains, social accounts, or app store listings containing "Jobkore" or a confusingly similar name
- Distribute your referral link through spam, unsolicited bulk email, or any channel that violates applicable anti-spam law
- Post your link to coupon, deal, or cashback sites, or offer unauthorized incentives, rebates, or cash back for signing up
- Misrepresent Jobkore's features, pricing, or performance, or make claims we have not published
- Use automated traffic, bots, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or any other technique that generates referrals a real person did not initiate
Clawbacks and Termination
- Commissions are reversed if the underlying subscription is refunded, charged back, or cancelled during the approval period, or if the referral is later found to be fraudulent, self-referred, or part of a reciprocal arrangement
- Reversals are deducted from your unpaid balance. If you are paid in credit and the credit has already been applied to an invoice, the reversed amount is added to your next invoice. If you are paid in cash and no future payout covers the balance, you agree to repay the amount on request
- We may withhold or reverse commissions, and suspend or remove you from the program, where we reasonably believe you are acting in bad faith, abusing the program, or damaging Jobkore's reputation
- Either party may end participation at any time, for any reason, with written notice. Commissions properly earned before termination remain payable
- If we terminate you for violating this Section, all unpaid commissions are forfeited
