1. Overview

Jobkore LLC ("Jobkore," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you access or use getjobkore.com, the Jobkore application, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Our Relationship to You

We interact with different categories of individuals, and our role varies accordingly:

  • Contractors and Users ("you") — If you create a Jobkore account, we are the data controller for the information you provide. This Privacy Policy applies directly to you
  • End Customers — If you are a client of a Jobkore user who receives estimates, invoices, or payment requests through the Service, we process your information on behalf of the contractor who sent you the document. The contractor determines what information about you is entered into the Service. For questions about how your data is used, please contact the contractor directly
  • Website Visitors — If you visit getjobkore.com without creating an account, we collect only the limited information described in Section 4 below

3. Information You Provide Directly

Account Information

  • Name, email address, and password when you register
  • If you sign up or sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We request only basic profile scopes (openid, email, profile) and do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or other Google services

Business Information

  • Company name, phone number, address, city, state, zip code, company email, website, and social media links
  • Business tax ID and license number (if provided)
  • Company logo and profile photo

Client Data

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, addresses, and notes you enter about your clients
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any client information you enter into the Service

Document Content

  • Estimates, invoices, change orders, line items, sections, notes, terms, photos, and file attachments you create or upload
  • Digital signatures captured when clients sign documents (name, email, signature text, and timestamp)

Payment Information

  • Subscription billing details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVC, or bank account details on our servers
  • If you enable Stripe Connect to collect payments from your clients, Stripe processes and stores all payment credentials. We receive only transaction confirmations, amounts, and reference IDs

AI Inputs

  • Job descriptions, notes, uploaded photos, PDFs, and text files you provide to Hank, our AI estimate organization assistant
  • Text you submit for AI writing improvements (messages, line item descriptions, document notes and terms)

4. Information Collected Automatically

  • Server logs — Our web servers automatically record your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device information when you access the Service. These logs are used for security monitoring and debugging and are not linked to your account
  • Website analytics — With your consent, our website and application use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated, anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and general device information. GA4 uses cookies to distinguish unique users. If you decline cookies via our consent banner, GA4 operates in cookieless mode and collects only limited, non-identifying data.   • Advertising — With your consent, we use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. This involves a cookie that records when you visit our site after clicking a Google ad. No personally identifiable information is collected through this tracking. If you decline cookies, no advertising cookies are set
  • Email engagement — When we send emails on your behalf (estimates, invoices, reminders), our email provider records delivery status, bounces, and whether the recipient opened the email. We use this data to notify you of delivery issues and client engagement
  • Document views — When a client views a shared estimate or invoice, we record the view event and notify you once per 24 hours. We do not track the client's IP address, location, or device details

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account
  • Generate AI-powered estimate organization based on your job descriptions
  • Deliver estimates, invoices, and payment receipts to your clients via email and shareable links
  • Sync your financial data with QuickBooks Online when you enable the integration
  • Send transactional communications (account verification, password resets, security alerts, payment receipts, trial notifications)
  • Send optional notifications you have enabled (client activity, weekly reports)
  • Send marketing and promotional emails (product updates, tips, and offers). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. Unsubscribing does not affect transactional emails required for your account
  • Provide customer support
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve the Service

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Stripe — Your email address is shared with Stripe to process subscription payments. If you enable Stripe Connect, invoice amounts and reference IDs are shared to process client payments. Stripe's use of your data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Stripe's data practices
  • AI service providers — Job descriptions, project notes, uploaded files, and text you submit to Hank are processed by third-party AI services (currently Anthropic and OpenAI). We do not include your clients' names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifiable information in AI requests. AI providers' use of data is governed by their respective privacy policies
  • Cloudflare — Files, photos, and attachments you upload are stored in Cloudflare R2 (private cloud storage). Files are accessible only via short-lived signed URLs generated on demand
  • Resend — Our email delivery provider. When you send documents to clients, the recipient's email address, your business information, and document details are transmitted through Resend. Resend's use of data is governed by Resend's Privacy Policy
  • Intuit QuickBooks — If you enable QuickBooks Online sync, your client records, invoices, and payment data are transmitted to Intuit via their API. The sync is one-way: data flows from Jobkore to QuickBooks. Intuit's use of your data is governed by Intuit's Privacy Statement. We are not responsible for how Intuit processes your data once it leaves our Service
  • Google — With your consent, aggregated analytics data is collected via Google Analytics 4 and advertising conversion data via Google Ads. No personally identifiable information is shared. If you decline cookies, Google receives only limited, non-identifying data. Google's use of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy
  • Sentry — If enabled, application errors are reported to Sentry for debugging. Error reports may contain technical context but do not include your personal data, passwords, or document content
  • Law enforcement or legal process — If required by law, court order, or subpoena, or if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others

7. Aggregated and Anonymized Data

We may create aggregated, de-identified data from your use of the Service (such as usage statistics and feature adoption trends). This data cannot be used to identify you. We may use, analyze, and share aggregated data for any business purpose, including improving the Service and understanding industry trends.

8. Your Data Ownership

You own your data. We do not claim ownership of estimates, invoices, client information, photos, attachments, or any other content you create in the Service. You may export your data (estimates, invoices, and payments) as CSV files at any time from within the Service. You may delete your account and all associated data as described in Section 10.

9. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously and employ industry-standard measures to protect it:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security)
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12 and are never stored in plain text
  • Authentication uses secure, httpOnly, SameSite cookies that are not accessible via JavaScript
  • File uploads are stored in private cloud storage accessible only via short-lived signed URLs (1 hour expiry)
  • Payment card information is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant) and never touches our servers
  • QuickBooks OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using AES encryption
  • API rate limiting is applied to authentication endpoints and public-facing routes to prevent abuse

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account, please notify us immediately through our contact page.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Active Accounts

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

Trial Accounts

If your free trial expires and you do not subscribe, your account and data remain accessible but feature-restricted. We may delete inactive trial accounts and their associated data after extended periods of inactivity with prior notice.

Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account from within the Service. Upon deletion:

  • Your Stripe subscription is cancelled immediately (no further charges)
  • All uploaded files are removed from cloud storage
  • All account data, client records, documents, and settings are permanently deleted from our database
  • Deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone

We may retain limited records where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.

Email Logs

Records of emails sent through the Service (recipient address, delivery status, timestamps) are retained for operational and debugging purposes and are deleted when your account is deleted.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information stored in the Service
  • Update or correct your information through your account settings
  • Export your estimates, invoices, and payments as CSV files from the Service
  • Delete your account and all associated data from within the Service
  • Opt out of non-essential notifications through your account notification settings
  • Disconnect third-party integrations (Google, Stripe Connect, QuickBooks) at any time from your account settings

12. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Know — You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, and the purposes for which it was collected
  • Right to Delete — You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights
  • Right to Opt Out — You may opt out of optional analytics and advertising cookies at any time by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser or by contacting us through our contact page. On our marketing website (getjobkore.com), you may also decline cookies via our consent banner or clear the jk_consent cookie to reset your preference and see the banner again
  • No Sale of Personal Information — We do not sell your personal information as defined under the CCPA. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising

13. Cookies

Essential Cookies

The Jobkore application uses a single essential cookie for authentication and session management. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function, is httpOnly (not accessible via JavaScript), and expires after 7 days. It cannot be disabled without losing access to the Service.

Consent Cookie

We use a cookie (jk_consent) on our marketing website (getjobkore.com) to remember your cookie preference. This cookie records whether you accepted or declined optional cookies and persists for one year.

Analytics and Advertising Cookies

Marketing website (getjobkore.com): Optional analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you accept via our consent banner. If you decline or do not interact with the banner, no optional cookies are set and Google Analytics operates in cookieless mode with limited, non-identifying data collection.

Application (app.getjobkore.com): By registering and agreeing to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, analytics and advertising cookies are active by default. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we automatically treat this as an opt-out request and no optional cookies are set. You may also opt out at any time by contacting our contact form.

The following optional cookies may be set on either property:

  • Google Analytics 4 — Cookies used to distinguish unique visitors and track aggregated site usage (pages viewed, session duration, general device and browser information). These cookies are set by Google and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy
  • Google Ads — Cookies used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by tracking conversions (such as sign-ups) after you click a Google ad. These cookies do not collect personally identifiable information and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy

We do not use retargeting technology, cross-site behavioral advertising, or third-party advertising networks beyond Google Ads conversion tracking.

14. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat this as a request to deny optional cookies — no analytics or advertising cookies will be set, and no consent banner will be displayed.

Some browsers transmit a separate "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-standard interpretation of DNT signals, we do not respond to DNT specifically. To opt out of optional cookies, use a GPC-enabled browser or contact us through our contact page.

15. AI-Generated Content

When you use Hank, our AI estimate organization assistant:

  • Your job descriptions, notes, and uploaded files (photos, PDFs, text files) are processed by third-party AI services to organize them into structured estimate sections and line items
  • Your saved Hank preferences (memory) are included as context to personalize results
  • We do not include your clients' personally identifiable information (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses) in AI requests
  • AI-generated outputs are treated as your content under this policy
  • We do not use your AI inputs to train AI models. Our AI providers' data practices are governed by their own policies

16. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies. When you enable an integration, data flows between our Service and the third party as described below:

  • Google Sign-In — If you connect your Google account, we receive your name, email, and profile photo. We do not access any other Google data. You may disconnect Google from your account settings at any time
  • Stripe Connect — If you enable payment collection, Stripe collects and processes your clients' payment information directly. Stripe may perform identity verification and credit checks as part of their onboarding. We receive only transaction confirmations. See Stripe's Privacy Policy
  • QuickBooks Online — If you enable the QuickBooks sync, client records, invoices, and payments are synced from Jobkore to QuickBooks via Intuit's API. OAuth tokens used for the connection are encrypted at rest on our servers. You may disconnect QuickBooks from your account settings at any time, which revokes our access. See Intuit's Privacy Statement

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party service. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before enabling integrations.

17. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

18. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us through our contact page.

19. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users via email and in-app notification within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. The notification will describe the nature of the breach, the types of data involved, and the steps we are taking in response.

20. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
