Sync clients, invoices, and payments with QuickBooks Online.

#Overview

The QuickBooks integration connects Jobkore to your QuickBooks Online account so your data stays in sync. Create documents in Jobkore and they appear in QuickBooks automatically — no double entry required.

#Connecting QuickBooks

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Click Connect QuickBooks.
  3. Sign in to your Intuit account and authorize Jobkore.
  4. Select the QuickBooks company you want to connect (if you have multiple).
  5. You're redirected back to Jobkore with the connection active.

Once connected, the integration card shows your QuickBooks company name and the date of your last sync.

Clients are synced automatically when you push an invoice. If a client already exists in QuickBooks (matched by name), Jobkore links to the existing record instead of creating a duplicate.

#Sync Settings

Fine-tune how the integration behaves from Settings > Integrations > QuickBooks:

Auto-syncAutomatically pushes unsynced documents to QuickBooks daily. When off, you sync manually.
Deposit accountThe QuickBooks bank account where payment deposits are recorded. Ask your accountant if you're unsure which to select.

#Manual Sync

The Sync Now button on the QuickBooks integration card pushes all unsynced and edited documents to QuickBooks immediately. It also shows a count of how many documents are waiting, so you know at a glance whether anything is pending.

Tip

Use Sync Now after a busy day of creating invoices to make sure everything is in QuickBooks before your bookkeeper starts reconciling.

#Sync Status

Every invoice shows a QuickBooks sync status so you always know where things stand:

Green checkUp to date in QuickBooks.
Yellow clockEdited since last sync. A re-sync button is available.
Red XSync failed. A retry button is available with an error message.

#Disconnecting

You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from Settings > Integrations. When disconnecting, you have the option to clear the sync mappings between your Jobkore and QuickBooks records, or keep them intact so everything links back up if you reconnect later.
