Language Support

Switch between English and Spanish for the app interface, estimates, invoices, and client-facing documents — one toggle, instant across the board.

#Supported Languages

Jobkore is fully available in English (default) and Spanish. Both languages cover the entire app — navigation, buttons, labels, messages, status badges, email templates, PDFs, error messages, and date/number formatting.

#How to Change Your Language

There are two ways to switch languages:

  • Language toggle — Click the EN / ES toggle in the app header. The entire interface switches immediately.
  • Your Profile — open the profile menu, then Profile, and set App Language. This is the setting that sticks. It is not in Settings — Settings is for your business, Profile is for you.

#Document Language

Each client can have a preferred language set on their profile. When a client has a language preference:

  • Share pages display in the client's language
  • PDFs are generated in the document's language
  • Emails sent to the client use their language

If no language is set for a client, Jobkore uses your app language as the default.

Tip

If you work with Spanish-speaking clients, set their language preference to Spanish on their client profile. They'll see share pages, PDFs, and emails in Spanish, even if you use the app in English.

#Hank AI™ Language

Hank has no language setting of his own. He writes in your app language, and switches automatically when you write to him in another one — type to him in Spanish and he answers in Spanish, without you changing anything.

There used to be a separate toggle for this. It was removed because it could silently disagree with your app language, which meant a contractor working in English could get Spanish estimates out of Hank with no obvious reason why.

Your language and your client's are separate

Hank writes the client-facing parts of a document — line item descriptions, section names, notes and terms — in your client's language, while still talking to you in yours. Work in English, keep a Spanish-speaking client set to Spanish, and the estimate goes out in Spanish while your chat with Hank stays in English.
