Leads
Every lead in one place, from your website, calls, texts and referrals: see who is waiting on you, follow up on a date, and track the work you win and lose.

Leads is everyone asking you for work: the people who write through your website, and anyone who calls, texts or is sent your way. Each one shows where it stands, from the first message to the job you won or lost.
Leads is in the main menu under Marketing, beside Website. On a phone it is a tile in More. Both show how many new leads are waiting.
#What Comes With Marketing
Every account can open Leads, read its leads, call, text or email them, and start an estimate or invoice from one. Add Lead, follow-up dates, and marking a lead won or lost come with the Marketing add-on, which is part of the trial. Without it, those buttons explain the add-on and offer Add Marketing. A website is not required for any of it.
#Where Leads Come From
Everything sent through the contact form on your website arrives as a lead. You get an email when one arrives, with a button that opens it in Jobkore, and replying to that email goes straight to the person who wrote. The phone app also sends a notification. Both are switches on the Website inquiry row of Settings → Notifications.
People who reach you another way go in the same list. Tap Add Lead at the top of Leads, or in the create menu, and fill in their Name, a Phone or an Email (at least one of the two), What they want, and How they reached you: a phone call, a text, a referral, Google or something else. A lead that came by phone call or text starts as contacted, since you have already spoken.
#The List
The filter beside the search box picks Open, Won or Lost, with Spam added when there is some. Open is in two parts: Waiting on you, the new leads nobody has answered yet, oldest first, and In progress, the ones you have contacted or sent an estimate, newest first. A search looks through every lead, whichever filter is on.
Each row shows the name, where the lead stands, what they want, the follow-up date and when it came in. The row's ⋮ menu (or a long press on a phone) has Call, Text and Reply.
The dashboard has a Leads card too, while there is something on it: the newest website leads nobody has answered, and any lead whose follow-up date is today or past.
#Where a Lead Stands
Each lead shows where it stands: New, Contacted, Estimate sent, Won or Lost. Jobkore works it out from what already happened. Calling, texting or replying makes a lead contacted. An estimate you send that client makes it estimate sent. An accepted estimate or a sent invoice makes it won, and a declined estimate, with no other estimate still open, makes it lost. A draft does not move a lead forward, and counts as still open, so a lead with a draft estimate is not lost.
Work that ends outside Jobkore you mark yourself: Mark Won or Mark Lost in the lead's ⋮ menu. Mark Lost asks why you didn't get it: Price, Timing, Went with someone else, No answer, Not a fit or Other, or Skip. Either one can be undone from the message that confirms it, and Reopen puts a won or lost lead back in Open.
#A Lead's Page
Tap a lead to open its page. Contact has Call, Text and Email for the details the lead has; using one on a new lead marks it contacted. Reply, in the row's menu, opens your own mail app with a short note already written in the language the person wrote in.
Below that are What they asked for (the service they picked and their whole message), Details (the follow-up date, and the client once there is one) and History: when they asked, when you made contact, the estimate you sent, and when it was won or lost, with the reason.
Start Estimate makes the person a client, saves their message as a note on the client, and opens a new estimate with what they wrote already in it for Hank. If they look like someone already in your client list, it offers to use that client instead. The ⋮ menu has the rest: Start Invoice, Add as Client, Mark Contacted, Mark Won, Mark Lost, and Delete, which removes the lead and its details for good. The pencil, Edit, changes the name, phone, email or what they want.
#Follow-Ups
Under Details, Set Date picks the day to get back to someone: Tomorrow, In 3 days, Next week or any date on the calendar. A lead has one follow-up date. That morning it shows on your dashboard, and the phone app sends one notification. Done clears it once the day comes, and Change moves it.
A follow-up is a reminder for you. Nothing is sent to the person.
#Spam
A message from your website that looks like spam is set aside under Spam, marked Filtered, with the reasons on its page. It is never refused or lost, and it is deleted on its own after 90 days. No email or notification goes out for it. If a real person landed there, Not Spam puts the lead back with the others, and that sender's next messages come straight through.
#Where Your Work Comes From
Reports shows the period's leads by where they came from, with how many were won and lost, and the reasons you gave for the ones you lost. The counts follow each lead's stage today, so a lead from March that you won in May counts as won in March.
After the job
To ask a happy client for a Google review, use Ask for a Review on the client, once your Google review link is saved in Settings → Business. It opens a message in your own Messages or mail app, with the link in it.
