The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log in. It gives you an at-a-glance view of your revenue, recent activity, and quick shortcuts to the things you do most.

#Quick Actions

Quick action buttons sit in the page header: New Note, New Estimate, New Invoice, Record Payment and New Client. They are the same create buttons you get from search and, on a phone, from the create sheet. Record Payment logs a payment you took by check, cash or anything else.

#Revenue Cards

The biggest number on the page is Outstanding: everything your clients still owe you. Under it, a badge counts the unpaid invoices, and a second one shows how much is past due when anything is. A strip beside it shows This Month, Out for Approval and Year to Date.

FigureWhat It Shows
OutstandingWhat clients still owe on your invoices. With nothing owed it reads All caught up, or Nothing invoiced yet on a new account
This MonthMoney collected this month, with how far ahead of or behind last month you are over the same days
Out for ApprovalEstimates sitting with clients waiting for an answer. Only shows when there is something out
Year to DateMoney collected since January 1

#Monthly Revenue Chart

The revenue chart shows collected revenue month by month — one bar per month, money actually received. What is still owed is the Outstanding figure above it, not part of the chart.

Revenue lands on the day the money did

A month's bar counts payments received in that month, not invoices closed. A deposit taken in March and a balance paid in May show up in March and May, even though it was one job. That is the single most likely thing to misread off this chart.

Use the year navigation arrows to move between years. Hover over any bar (or tap on mobile) to see the exact figure for that month. On a phone, the current year's chart stops at the end of the current quarter rather than running out to December, so it stays readable at that width.

#Recent Activity

Below the chart, a New inquiries section comes first when your website has inquiries waiting, linking to the Inbox. Then three sections stack down the page — no tabs, so nothing is hidden behind a tap — each with a View All link to the full list:

Recent Estimates

Your last several estimates with the estimate number, client name, total, and status badge (Draft, Sent, Accepted, or Declined). Click any row to open the estimate.

Recent Invoices

Your last several invoices with the invoice number, client name, total, and status badge (Draft, Sent, Paid, Overdue, or Void). Click any row to open the invoice.

Recent Notes

Your last several field notes, each showing the note’s name, a preview of what is in it, the client it is tagged to, and when you wrote it. A note is named by its first line. Click any row to open it.

Tip

Use recent activity to follow up on sent estimates or check which invoices are still outstanding — without leaving the Dashboard.
