The one-step version

Open app.getjobkore.com/install on the phone you want it on. That page detects your device and walks you through it, and it is maintained alongside the app itself — so it stays right when the browsers change their menus, which they do. The steps below are the same thing written out.

#Installing on iPhone & iPad

The iOS app is coming soon. Until then, add Jobkore to your home screen so it works like a regular app:

Open app.getjobkore.com in Safari
Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen
Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
Tap "Add" in the upper right corner

The Jobkore icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to launch the app in full-screen mode, without Safari's address bar or tabs.

Tip

For the best experience on iPhone, always launch Jobkore from the home screen icon rather than through Safari. This gives you more screen space and the app-like experience.

#Installing on Android

Get Jobkore on Google Play. Search for “Jobkore” in the Play Store, or open that link on your phone, and tap Install.

You can also add it from Chrome instead. Chrome will show an install prompt when you visit Jobkore, or you can install it manually:

Tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner
Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"
Confirm by tapping "Add"

The Jobkore icon will appear on your home screen and in your app drawer. When launched, it runs in full-screen mode just like a native app.

#Mobile Features

Jobkore is built mobile-first — every screen is designed for phones first, then scales up for tablets and desktops. Here's what you get on mobile:

Bottom navigation — Quick access to your main sections from the bottom of the screen, easy to reach with one hand.
Pull to refresh — On list pages (clients, estimates, invoices), pull down to load the latest data.
Voice recording — Record voice notes directly in Field Notes. Jobkore transcribes them to text automatically.
Camera integration — Take photos from your phone's camera and attach them to documents or field notes.
Native share — Share PDFs and links using your phone's built-in share menu.
Responsive layout — Navigation collapses into a mobile menu, cards stack vertically, and forms use full-width inputs for easy tapping.

Every feature available on desktop works the same on mobile. Whether you're creating a quick estimate between jobs or reviewing invoices at your desk, you get the same full experience on every device.

#With No Signal

Field notes, voice memos, note attachments and your typing on an estimate or invoice are kept on the phone when you have no signal, even if the app is closed. They go through the next time you open the app with a connection. Keep the app open for a moment when you are back in range; on an iPhone nothing moves while it is closed.

Opening the app with no signal shows what it last synced, with a banner saying you are offline. A screen you have never opened has nothing saved yet, so it stays empty until you are back online.

Sending an email, taking a payment, making a PDF, Hank, QuickBooks sync and signing in all need a connection.
